A stroll along Waikiki beach, Honolulu

I still cannot believe I am actually in Hawaii!! Growing up in central Europe, Hawaii has always been that one destination halfway around the world that you saw on TV but knew you'd never be able to visit. And yet: here I am! I must also admit that I was a bit sceptical, thinking Hawaii might be one of the places hyped for no good reason whatsoever, but man, was I wrong in thinking that. It is BREATHTAKING.
